Where are the Sheriffs in Connecticut?
This article is to inform the public about the current situation in Connecticut where the state is threatening to Confiscate their gun, and the importance of the role of a County Sheriff in protecting our Constitutional rights.
Where are the Sheriffs in Connecticut?
If you have been following the news, the citizens of Connecticut are facing a possible attempt to confiscate their fire arms that the state tried to make them register by passing an unconstitutional gun law. Now if this were to happen in almost any other state and in a county where there is a Constitutional Sheriff or a city with a Constitutional Police Chief that official would step up and say not in my jurisdiction. This is not happening in Connecticut instead some officers are looking forward to kicking in citizens doors and taking their weapons and arresting them. http://www.storyleak.com/conn-cop-gun-owning-veteran-wait-get-order-kick-door/
Where are the Sheriffs you may ask? That is a logical question since Sheriffs are and always have been the highest ranking official in their own counties. In 2000 the Connecticut legislature passed a law doing away with Sheriffs. There is no longer one Sheriff in the whole state. Now it is up the citizens to go it alone and fight this overreach of the government. The citizens alone must stand and fight for their right to bear arms. If they still had Sheriffs and those Sheriffs were Constitutional Sheriffs the Sheriffs could stand up for them. When you do away with a Constitutional Sheriff a situation like is boiling in Connecticut is what you get. God forbid, but if this illegal act by the Governor and the state legislature continues this could get bloody. Citizens and Patriot groups from all over the country are watching this situation. Many are saying that if a citizen is shot in one of these illegal raids on private citizens homes they will rise up in force and fight. With officers like Officer Peterson of the Branford Police Department this could actually erupt into a Civil War. These citizens are not wanting it to come to that. Many people are working to find a peaceful resolution. Barack Obama and the Democrat party are working relentlessly to disarm every US Citizen. Gun registration is not the answer to anything. Gun registration is the first step to gun confiscation. Criminals do not register guns. The most powerful tool we have to enforce the Second Amendment is the local Sheriff. I live in Jackson County, Kentucky and I know that if the state of Kentucky were trying to take our guns Sheriff Peyman would meet them at the County line and turn them back. I spoke today to some friends in Connecticut, they wish they had a Sheriff like Denny Peyman, they wish they had a Constitutional Sheriff period. http://aftip.weebly.com/263/post/2013/01/kentucky-sheriff-to-obama-not-on-my-watch.html
If you have a Constitutional Sheriff thank God for him. If he is running support him and if he is not a Constitutional Sheriff replace him with one that is, before it is too late and you lose your Constitutional rights.
